STORY WALK: HOW TO FIND A BIRD
Read How to Find a Bird by Jennifer Ward while strolling Lake Ponder Trail. Instead of turning the page, simply walk to the page! This is a great way to incorporate literacy and physical activity as well as create an opportunity for family bonding. This story walk is a self-guided activity and will be on display from Friday, March 15-Sunday, Mary 24. Lake Ponder Trail is a 0.5-mile, flat, paved, and ADA-accessible trail. Meet along Lake Ponder Trail.

Test your nature knowledge with a game of trivia around a campfire. Winner will get to take home a bundle of wood to further fuel your fire. Fun for the whole family. Meet at campfire circle across from the tent campsite.

Join a park interpreter in a read-aloud of How to Find a Bird by Jennifer Ward, which is on our Story Walk display. This story is appropriate for kids ages 4-7, but everybody is welcome. Lake Ponder Trail is a 0.5-mile, flat, paved, and ADA-accessible trail. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Meet at Lake Ponder Swim Beach.

CROWLEY'S RIDGE STATE PARK SPRING CLEANUP
Calling all volunteers to participate in Crowley's Ridge State Park's Great Arkansas Cleanup! Please meet at the visitor center to register and receive instructions on what section of the park needs attention. This is a drop-in event. We're happy to have you as long as you'd like! Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Bringing your own water bottles and snacks is recommended. T-shirts are available while supplies last. Meet at the Visitor Center.
