Union City, Tenn., March 5, 2024 - Discovery Park of America's upcoming temporary exhibit, "Sean Kenney's Nature Connects, made with LEGO bricks" will be at the museum and heritage park in Union City, Tennessee May 3-Sept. 2, 2024. This traveling exhibit produced by Imagine Exhibitions is sponsored in part by Leaders Credit Union.

Along with the exhibit, Discovery Park is also offering three weeks of camps with a focus on building with LEGO bricks and one week of Discovery Camp.

Featuring works created by artist Sean Kenney, "Nature Connects" presents 19 displays of sculptures made from LEGO bricks that were specially curated to enhance a visit to Discovery Park. Included in the collection is a monarch butterfly built with 60,500 LEGO bricks that took 377 hours to build, a life-sized gardener built with 37,400 LEGO bricks that took 320 hours to build and various giant plants, animals and insects.

An educator guide for the exhibit is available for parents or educators who would like to provide lessons before or after experiencing the exhibit. The temporary exhibit will be free with admission or membership.

The dates for the week-longs camps with a focus on building with LEGO bricks are July 17-21, July 15-19 and July 22-26. The date for the week-long Discovery Camp is June 8-12. Both camps feature a variety of educational opportunities for young learners.
